The system propertyjava.library.path contains the entries from the environment variable PATH. Check it to verify that the expected native library directory D:Oracleappproduct11.2.0client1bin is present and precedes any other client installations.

Symptoms


While installing Oracle Instant client 18.3 on Linux, there is no bin directory created under client home.
Also, while trying to connect to the database, the next error is reported:
